After-School Nanny Job, Brook Green, West London
A lovely family based in Brook Green is looking for a warm, caring, and proactive after-school nanny to join their household and become a long-term part of their family.
The family has two children aged 5 and 6 and is seeking someone who is experienced with this age group, nurturing, reliable, and able to create a fun, supportive, and engaging environment after school. They would love a nanny who can grow with the family as the children get older.
The family places a strong focus on health, nutrition, and an active lifestyle, so they are looking for someone who enjoys preparing healthy meals, encouraging outdoor play, and supporting the children’s development.
A bonus would be someone with newborn or baby experience, as the family is hoping to expand their family later this year.
Responsibilities
After-school care for two children (aged 5 and 6)
School pick-ups and drop-offs to after-school activities
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children and family
Helping with homework and reading
Organizing uniforms, children’s rooms, and belongings
Planning creative activities, play, and outdoor adventures
Encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle
Occasional dog walking
Providing occasional later evening babysitting/date-night support when required
Schedule
Monday to Friday
Approximately 30–35 hours per week
Schedule: 1:00pm – 7:00pm
Occasional flexibility for later evenings/date nights
Ideal Candidate
Experienced working with children aged 5 and 6
Warm, patient, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys being around children
organized, proactive, and confident managing a busy after-school routine
Active and enjoys outdoor activities
Comfortable preparing healthy family meals
Able to support homework and learning
English speaking essential: French is a bonus
DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid certified
Driving license helpful but not essential
Newborn/baby experience is a strong bonus
Salary
£22 – £25 gross per hour, depending on experience and suitability.
Start Date September ideally but flexible for the right Nanny
