Candidate Resourcer and Junior Consultant Job


Greycoat Lumleys Childcare and Education team are looking for a Candidate Resourcer to join their busy and growing team. The team has grown in size over the last few years and just gets busier and busier, and now require an extra Candidate Resourcer to assist with further growth. It’s an exciting and challenging role and ideal for a candidate looking to progress within the role and company.


Main duties:

  • To work closely with childcare consultants

  • Diary management – ensuring that all meetings are confirmed and in place for all consultants

  • Candidate resourcing and management:

    • Sourcing candidates for temporary jobs and permanent jobs

    • Pre-registration of candidate and scheduling of meetings between consultants and candidates

    • Reference checking for the candidates and maintaining the reference checking spreadsheet

    • Management of compliance on the candidates

    • Administration of the candidates and updating of all candidate files

    • Filtering of all applications from the website

    • Updating jobs on job sites

    • Searching job sites for candidates

  • Website role:

    • Writing and checking job descriptions for the website

    • Managing and packaging candidates for the website

  • Social media:

    • Coming up with ideas for social media to develop the team

    • Working closely with the Marketing team in posting on social media sites

  • Team role:

    • Assisting with projects where required such as compliance for the team

    • Mailshot management for both candidates and clients

  • General Administration

    • This is a busy and varied role where you will be required to undertake and manage various administrative tasks


Qualities/attributes required:

  • Highly organised

  • Proactivity and ability to spot tasks which need to be done

  • Ability to work at a fast pace, and to work to deadlines

  • Able to implement good procedures and work with precision and good attention to detail

  • Motivation

  • Team player

  • An interest in childcare and knowledge of the industry would be beneficial but not essential, as this can be learnt


Hours: Monday to Friday, based on 40 hour week

Holidays: 20 days per year, plus bank holidays. This rises to 25 days per year, plus bank holidays, after two years of service.

Package: Pension. Medical insurance after a year of employment.

Start: ASAP but ability to do a trial day before
