A lovely client based in the stunning resort of Klosters is looking for a Chalet Chef for the upcoming winter season. The chalet is very central and just a 6 minute walk to the staff apartment.
The chalet sleeps a maximum of 8 guests and is chartered for around 6 weeks of the season by UHNW guests, and the owner uses the chalet for another 6 weeks of the season. There will be down time when the chalet is empty.
The Chef will be responsible for the preparation and execution of breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner as well as all food shopping, liaising with guests and owner to plan menus. Experience in high end restaurants, private households and yachts is preferred. An excellent menu plan should be submitted, ideally with photos of food; an understanding of creating exactly what your guests like is imperative.
The owner wants lovely, down to earth candidates who are discreet and professional; the right personality is important for this position. There will be two weeks of training with the owner at the beginning of December which is a great chance to get used to the resort.
Salary: £400 - £500 per week
A 2 bed apartment in the centre of town, 6 mins walk from the chalet
Flights to and from the resort, meals, ski pass, ski hire (+ discount for ski boots) are all included.
