We are looking for Chefs for this winter for a fabulous company located in Verbier with stunning chalets throughout what is arguably Switzerland's best resort! This is an amazing opportunity to work for one of the world’s leading luxury ski companies.
The company hosts guests on a weekly basis, generally back to back. The role of the chalet chef will be to cater for 8-12 guests (depending on the chalet size you are assigned to), preparing cooked breakfast to order, afternoon tea and a 5 course dinner for guests plus staff meals. The Chef should have experience cooking fine dining cuisine, ideally in a rosette or Michelin star environment, prior ski seasons for luxury chalets are also very advantageous.
The Chef will also be responsible for adhering to budgets, doing stock-takes, shopping & food orders. Depending on the size of the chalet they will be working alongside 1-2 Chalet Hosts and the Chalet Manager is there for help and support whenever necessary.
The ideal candidate will be well presented, have outstanding cookery skills and a great imagination. Must be flexible and calm under pressure with a hands on, problem solving approach. We are ideally looking for someone who has worked previously in a luxury chalet but this is not essential.
