Greycoat Lumleys’ client is looking for a Chef de Partie for their 3 AA Rosette Restaurant by Inverness. This property is nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and would a great opportunity for a rising Chef. They are looking for someone with potential who has flare and passion.

 

Duties would include:

Ensuring that all customers receive the highest level of attention, service and care

Supporting the high standard of dedication, expression and initiative to all dishes

Assisting with the control, receipt, storage and issue of supplies

Learning style, presentation and recipes to assist with food preparation

Working alone or in a team with tasks for pre, during or post meal service

A good understanding of how to prepare and cook; vegetables, potatoes, fresh pasta, risotto, soups, hot starters

A good understanding of how to prepare and cook meat, fish, and cold starters

 

Required:

At least 2 years’ experience at a 2 AA Rosette level

Must be able to self-manage

Be creative and have excellent attention to detail

Must be ambitious and must be able to uphold whatever standard is set

Should be able to multi task

Should have relevant hygiene, health and safety training - basic hygiene certificate

Must be able to listen, take orders, directions and take criticism and be willing to learn

Comply and be aware of all HACCCP requirements

 

This is ideally a permanent position but they would be open to a temporary contract

 

Accommodation: is available

Hours: Straight or split shifts, 5 days a week, hours subject to business

Salary: £17,000-£19,000
