A client of Greycoat Lumleys has a job for a Chef de Partie available immediately.
The client, a private members' club, has a kitchen of about 2 permanent Chefs, plus temporary ones when it is required. They supply food for the restaurant (26 covers). The menu is a la carte with an emphasis on seasonal produce, and British produce is very much promoted within the club. Lunch is served from Monday to Friday and dinner Tuesday to Thursday
The CDP will be required to work as part of the team, assist the Head Chef, and run it in his absence. The chef will come up with new menu ideas and help the planning and the stock taking.
They will need to be proficient in health and safety and ensure these procedures are carried out through the kitchen. The right candidate will be creative and have some good idea for new menus, while still being centred around British produce. Experience in management, either in restaurants or in functions, will be essential.
Some washing up will be required in this role.

Wed 11.00 - 15.00 , 19.15 - 22.15
Thurs 11.00 - 15.00 , 19.15 - 22.15
Fri 10.00 - 15.00
+ 4 hours per week for Monday/Wednesday dinner parties (on average - depending on bookings)
Salary: £27 plus £2 k bonus, 22 days holiday and 4% pension.
