(47082) Chef/ House Manager, Central London, ASAP start

 

An experienced Private Chef/ House Manager is required for a family household in SW1, Central London. The family travel frequently and you may be required to travel with them to USA from March-June and to France for two weeks in August.

You will be catering for 2 adults and 1 child (attending boarding school, so often not there). The client has very specific dietary requirements and cannot eat any additives or gluten at any time. Ideally the family wish to eat fresh, organic ingredients that can be made into creative and tasty meals.

 

Occasionally the family may entertain at weekends, so occasional flexibility on the working days would be beneficial. This role will also require competent house management skills – dealing with contractors, suppliers, problem solving, driving and any other duties associated.

 

Duties:

  • Cooking fresh healthy meals to a high standard

  • Kitchen management

  • Food shopping, stock control

  • Working with the housekeeper - hands on cleaning if required

  • Flower arranging

  • Packing and unpacking (This is a large part of the role)

  • Serving and waiting/butler duties

  • Driving - on occasion (non-drivers will also be considered though)

 

It is essential that you are a driver.

 

Hours: Monday - Friday with occasional flexibility for Sundays

 

Salary: Around £50,000 - £60,000
