Our client is looking for a chalet chef for a private chalet in Meribel from 20th January 2018. They will be expected to work hard and be conscientious but also enjoy their work and the resort.
The chef must be happy to produce family style food w hich is meat based; not fine dining but a high standard of cooking. Asian cuisine knowledge is a bonus.
They will prepare breakfast, a 2 or 3 course dinner and sometimes lunch if the guests decide not to go up the mountain.
The chalet will be occupied throughout the season, mainly but the owners but they will rent it out at least once per month to other people. Most of the time there will be only 4 or 5 people staying in the chalet but this can vary. There will be no children staying at the chalet.
