Our client is looking for an experienced chef to work in their private residence in London and the South of France.
When in London you will be required to provide simple family cooking as it will just be the family. They have 2 small children (2 year old twins) and another child on the way.
When in the France there will be a lot of entertaining; lunch and supper will be for between 6-8 guests each day. They enjoy healthy Mediterranean food: grilled meat and fish and the odd curry. It can be busy but the housekeeper generally does breakfast so the chef wouldn’t need to start until 11am each day.
They are looking for someone flexible and energetic who works well as part of a team. The client has a number of other staff: Estate Manager, nannies, housekeepers and drivers.
Salary is £40,000 per annum but flexible for the right candidate.
You would get 2 days off per week which would generally be the weekend but some flexibility would be needed here.
This position is live out in London but live in in France so would ideally suit someone who is already based in the UK.
This is to start as soon as possible and they will be holding interviews in the next week or 2.
