We are currently working with an amazing worldwide fashion brand that is looking for a Head Chef for their staff cafeteria. This role is fantastic for someone who is looking for steady hours and a Monday to Friday job and is available immediately or on a short notice.

The ideal candidate will meet the below requirements:

  • Experience in a deli/cafeteria or private household environment and running a kitchen

  • Experience in creating menus, sourcing ingredients, stock control, cost control

  • Flexible and energetic as the chef will be in an open kitchen

 

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Prepping & serving breakfast on a daily basis for up to 20 people and lunch up to 50/80 per day.

  • Every first Thursday of the month serve up to 130 people for the free lunch day.

  • Every Tuesday Prepare two course lunch for the management team

  • Manage and run kitchen staff & suppliers

  • Keeping canteen to a presentable appearance

  • Manage daily/weekly menus and planning ahead, source ingredients and communicate it to the staff members through email.

  • Admin duties : Register with local council for Food & Hygiene Certificates, manage daily cash takings and doing a profit & loss spread sheet

In return you will receive:

  • 28 -30 k gross per annum

  • Working hours: 7.30am-3.30pm or 8am-4pm
