Domestic Couple – Housekeeper & Gardener/Handyman, Perth and Kinross, Scotland
Greycoat Lumley’s client are seeking a Couple for a large private household in Perth and Kinross. They require an experienced and reliable domestic couple to manage and maintain a substantial rural property. This is a full-time, live-in position offering a high degree of autonomy, ideal for a couple who work well independently and take pride in maintaining high standards.
Gardener / Groundsman / Handyman
General property and grounds maintenance
Lawn care, pruning, hedging, planting, and upkeep of mature trees
Operation of machinery (e.g. chainsaws, log splitters)
Basic plumbing and electrical maintenance
Experience with biomass systems highly desirable
Supporting ongoing renovation projects
Housekeeper Duties
Full housekeeping duties for a large family home
All hands on cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organisation of the home
Maintaining a warm, organised, and welcoming home environment
Occasional babysitting (1 child)
Occasional family cooking
Applicants must have proven experience working as a domestic couple in a similar setting with strong practical skills across housekeeping and property maintenance. Knowledge of gardening and groundskeeping (practical rather than specialist horticulture) required.
A high level of reliability, discretion, and trustworthiness is essential and the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
Start: July 2026
Salary: £70,000–£80,000 joint gross annual salary + 24 days holiday plus + 8 bank holiday + other benefits included in the package
Accommodation: Two-bedroom cottage + all bills and council tax included
Hrs and Days: 5 days per week but must have flexibility depending on the family’s needs
