Couple Job, Gardener/Handyman and Housekeeper
Greycoat Lumley’s client is seeking a Couple to manage a Private Estate in the Scottish Highlands. Managing the property, equipment, and third-party contractors, ensuring an effective balance between maximizing profitability and maintaining the estate’s landscape, while also providing housekeeping services across the properties
Duties Include:
Look after and maintain the garden and policies around main house, including garden equipment and all associated work.
Carry out works of a minor maintenance nature, the replacement of slates, cleaning chimneys, painting, maintenance of estate machinery, fences, gates, hedges, ditches, etc.
Assist with holiday lettings, undertake viewings of both holiday and let properties and read electricity meters as and when required.
Occasionally assist the River Bailiff with the maintenance of the boats on the estate and maintenance of river banks and paths.
Occasionally assist to herd animals that may be grazed on the fields adjoining the property.
Act in the capacity of Caretaker of the premises when they are unoccupied by your employer.
Be the nominated “responsible person” for Health and Safety on the estate.
Housekeeping and maintain the main house and associated houses, cottages and buildings.
Laundry and ironing
Assist with looking after domestic pets and animals, if required.
Assist with holiday lettings, undertake viewings of both holiday and let properties, and read electricity meters as and when required.
Assist in house over occasional weekends.
Salary: £70,000 GPA joint depending on experience.
Accommodation: Rent-free - council tax paid.
