Domestic Couple (Full-Time, Live-In – Germany)
A private, mature couple residing in a large modern home in Germany seeks an experienced, discreet, and proactive Domestic Couple to manage the day-to-day running of their household. The position is live-in, with accommodation provided nearby, and requires candidates legally able to work in the EU / Germany. The Principals value reliability, professionalism, and calm attention to detail in maintaining their well-ordered household.
The Residence
Approx. 1,000 sqm main residence with modern, elaborate interiors and fine artworks.
Property includes a guest house, landscaped gardens, and a swimming pool.
Regular contractors include a gardening service and on-site security.
One cleaner is currently employed.
The Principals are based at the property, but they also travel abroad.
Core Responsibilities
For both partners (jointly covering the following areas):
General hands-on household maintenance duties: day-to-day organisation, coordination with existing cleaners and service providers.
Meal preparation: daily family-style cooking; occasional support for dinner parties (formal catering provided for larger events).
Household management: overseeing supplies, errands, laundry, wardrobe care, and household inventories.
Service and hospitality: table service for smaller gatherings; offering drinks and welcoming guests.
Driving duties: occasional driving for the Principals and guests, as well as errands and airport runs.
Caretaking and maintenance: coordination with external contractors; light handyman duties; upkeep of pool and garden areas.
Administrative assistance: small household tasks such as printing documents, handling dry-cleaning drop-offs, etc.
Key Requirements
Previous experience working as a Domestic Couple in a private household setting.
Excellent housekeeping standards and respect for fine interiors and artworks.
Good family-style cooking skills, with confidence in informal table service.
Practical hands on maintenance and handyman knowledge, including basic pool and garden care.
Clean driving licenses and confident driving ability.
Right to work in the EU / Germany.
Personal Attributes

Calm and professional; able to maintain routine and high standards.
Patient, adaptable, and team-oriented—comfortable coordinating with other household staff.
Warm and friendly, particularly around family members and children visiting
Proactive and willing to go the extra mile to ensure smooth household operation.
Good spoken English; German is advantageous.
Accommodation & Conditions
Private accommodation is provided nearby, modern and self-contained.
Use of a vehicle is included for work duties and occasional personal use.
Flexible working schedule, primarily five days per week with time in lieu when adjusting around the Principals’ travels.
Salary and benefits to be determined based on experience and fit.
