Live-in Couple or Housekeeper/ Houseman Job
We are seeking a warm, friendly and flexible live-in Couple or housekeeper/houseman to support a family home. The property is 6-bed. The household is a family of five; two sons have moved out and the daughter is home at weekends.
Candidate requirements
Proven private housekeeping and maintenance experience is essential.
Warm, friendly manner with a professional approach.
Flexible and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a home with a dog.
Key responsibilities:
Full housekeeping and daily cleaning to a high standard.
Simple food preparation as required.
Dog walking and general pet care. (Dog stays at house when the family go on holiday and you would be solely responsible for the golden doodle)
Overseeing the day-to-day management of the house and keeping the home well organised.
Handyman and maintenance duties
Cleaning and caring for the family cars.
Light gardening support as required.
Working hours
Monday to Friday (flexible to sometimes work on Saturday mornings), Flexibility on both sides is crucial.
Accommodation
Separate self-contained annex above the garage.
Driving
Driving may be required from time to time. An automatic people carrier is available for any driving required.
Salary: Flexible for the right person
Start date: Flexible, but ideally no later than October.
