Greycoat Lumleys client are looking for a capable couple for modern country house in the Scottish Highlands.

The principals, who are semi-retired, divide their time between London and Scotland. Their home in Scotland is set within an active Sporting Estate in Ross-shire, 30 miles from Inverness.

The role of the couple encompasses all tasks associated with running a large private house including cleaning, laundry, provisioning, cooking and serving meals when the principals are resident, lawn mowing, ground maintenance, security, basic care of equipment and vehicles, airport collections and general driving, with occasional assistance to the Estate.

The preference is for an established couple with experience in a similar role, or who wish to move from relevant hospitality or trade based roles, and are seeking long-term employment. Applicants must have clean driving licences, be self-motivated, logical, reliable and instinctively tidy. A professional telephone manner and competence with email and word processing is essential for communication with the principals, as are certain personal qualities such as tact, discretion and consideration.

The house contains the principals' personal living, entertaining and private office facilities. The fully furnished staff accommodation is situated on the first floor of the house with spectacular open views to hills and lochs; it comprises sitting room, double bedroom and bathroom, and is conveniently accessed by a private staircase from the domestic areas on the ground floor. There is no accommodation for dependants or pets.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and detailed terms and conditions will be made available to suitable applicants.
