A top catering company client of ours are looking for a development chef.
You will be using the best ingredients to cost and develop seasonal recipes and menus for a busy event caterer across –
• A la carte
• Bowl foods
You will be up to date with current food trends and the London food scene.
Ideally with experience in development for a high end restaurant with an understanding of how events operate.
You will have excellent knowledge and research to develop wonderful and well-presented tasty dishes.
The successful Chef will have full responsibility in menu development and client tastings and will also be assisting in the events side of the business with prep and working events for up to 400pax.
Therefore you will have a strong understanding of how events and menus suit large numbers and be able to run an event of up 400 covers and manage the event kitchen team.
Salary: Up to £40k DOE + Overtime + performance bonus
Hours: 40hrs Mainly Monday- Friday but evenings and weekends required
