House & Property Manager Job
Greycoat Lumley’s client are looking for an experienced House & Property Manager for an extensive property portfolio on a premier Highland Estate. Duties include management of bigger real estate projects, general operation, systematic maintenance, administration of properties, house cleaning/housekeeping, managing holiday lets, and assisting/managing a cleaning and gardening team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of properties including lodges, permanent lets, private holiday residence and furnished holiday lets. This exciting opportunity will allow the candidate to take forward ownership of the property management and thrive on the challenges and successes of the role.

The candidate will report directly to the Estate Manager. They will be responsible for the everyday running of the Estate Holiday Lets and occasionally private residence (main house of the Principal) and working with the Estate Manager to deliver high standards across the properties. They will oversee property repairs/maintenance/refurbishment works across the 4 main houses and the 20 estate properties. and be hands-on, assisting guests and the owner family when in residence and working with cleaning staff and assisting 3-4 colleagues. You will be part of a leadership team built on a culture which emphasises on and acknowledge the value of openness and involvement.
The candidate should exhibit managerial qualities and highly professional standards as the role demands excellence in organisational and operational skills. Responsible for working and liaising with contractors and trades dependent on the works and responsible for general operation, maintenance, and administration of properties.
Additionally, there may be an opportunity for a spouse/partner to work at the estate within the area of housekeeping, cleaning, facility maintenance or gardening.
Property management experience
Sound knowledge of the development of standards, protocols and relevant legislation (H&S etc)
Undertake training and guiding of other household employees
Working knowledge of Microsoft office-based software packages
The position comprises both the general estate management responsibility and project/facility management. You may be professionally more experienced in one of the two areas which is acceptable.
