Permanent Executive Chef for Ski Company in Val d’Isere and Tignes, France
As Executive Chef you will work closely with all Chalet Chefs as well as Chalet Managers. You will be required to oversee all the catering in all 12 chalets, 3 of which cater for 35 guests. You will be responsible for the chefs training and will act as a mentor throughout the season.
The client is looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role and is used to managing a number of people. You will need to have comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene, ordering, menu planning, purchasing, inventories and stock control as you will be managing and training your staff in all aspects.
Positive, flexible and adaptable attitude is essential with a sense of fun and willingness to help out in any of the chalets if needed. This is not a cooking role but you will be required to cover shifts.
Salary: £20,000 per annum
Days worked: 5.5 days per week
