Catering for a HNWI couple, with two young children and one son in his 20's.
Start Date: ASAP (December 2017)
Permanent chef required in Zurich ASAP start, with Christmas in Miami this year (19th December - 5th January). The successful candidate must be very flexible and able to deal with ever-changing schedules and be happy to work late. High level of confidentiality required.
The role involves preparing early breakfast and dinner 5 days per week (With time off during the day). You will also be preparing food in advance for the weekends when required and occasional lunch, when required.
The couple are very into their food and would like high-end dishes, excellently presented to restaurant standard. They do not generally entertain at home. They would like the chef to do menu development and purchase the food and serve to the table/clear away. The candidate needs to be very flexible with their time and needs. The clients likes classic French food, Asian/Japanese food.
Other staff in the household include a P.A/Housekeeper, cleaners and two nannies (who will often help with children’s meals).
The chef must be a non-smoker and have previous household experience. Ideal candidate will be classically trained with a wide range of cuisines.
Hours: Monday - Friday, full flexibility, Chef must travel and work occasional weekends
Uniform: Chef Whites
Annual leave: Swiss legal annual leave (To be taken outside of the client's holiday times or booked far in advance, so they can make alternative arrangements).
Basic Salary: From £60,000 - £65,000 gross per annum (Negotiable, dependant on experience and previous salary)
Overtime: For any additional weekend days and also overtime pay when required to cook abroad (during holiday periods)
Accommodation: Provided - your own, newly refurbished, two bedroom apartment.
Additional Benefits: Private health insurance. Travel allowance provided when accompanying the family on holiday abroad. The client will often work in London on a Friday, so he will fly you to London for the day or the weekend if you prefer (so you can have occasional weekends in the UK)
