High profile family based in the UAE are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to start ASAP.

 

The family is looking to hire mature, experienced, competent and energized candidate who is capable of handling the following responsibilities.

Requirements

  • The F&B Manager is required to be present for lunch and dinner services and to assist with both table

  • Stock control and inventory management on a weekly basis

  • Daily liaising with the teams between Kitchens, ensuring imaginative, nutritious menus are being beautifully prepared and presented by knowledgeable confident staff

  • Ensure food safety standards are upheld and any safety hazards are resolved immediately

  • Approve daily purchase orders for the kitchen’s, crosschecking the items received against purchase order, inspecting the quality of fresh produce received.

  • Source new suppliers and be ahead with new culinary trends, visit food shows.

  • Deliver and develop regular training course to maximize the education and service standards of service.

  • Introduce standards and processes to ensure high standards are being maintained.

 

Qualities:

  • The ideal Food & Beverage Manager will be someone who possesses leadership capabilities and has a can do attitude responsible for ensuring an exceptional level of service is continuously being delivered to the Principles whilst managing two kitchens and dining room staff.

  • Must be able to drive initiatives in Food & Beverage products and introduce standards and processes to ensure high standards that are expected in a five star property.

  • The ideal candidate should have a proven track record with the organization of large banquets and special events from start to finish

  • The candidate should have worked in a formal residence or five stars Hotel and preferably holds a hospitality degree

  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Have proven experience in leading and developing staff, be able to create a proactive service culture

  • Have Exceptional verbal, written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Arabic dishes is an advantage

  • Open to work 6 days a work with one day off
