(44676) Mid November - mid May. Head chef required for brasserie attached to private luxury apartments in St Anton. The restaurant will serve a buffet and to order breakfast and a simple brasserie style a la carte menu in the evening. There will be an average of 70 - 100 covers.
The kitchen is brand new, full equipped and very smart - apparently there is even a nice view of the ski slopes!
The head chef will be working with a sous chef and two junior cooks (Commis and a Kitchen assistant). You will also work as part of a team of hotel staff.
The client would like a chef who has worked in a similar commercial environment before, as you will be responsible for all ordering, stock control, kitchen hygiene, staff training, rotas etc.
Ideal candidate will be a skier! If you have done at least one ski season or summer season before, this would be a bonus, but is not essential. The main thing is the client need someone who will be professional in the role and enjoy the slopes while they are there!!
