We are looking for hard working and creative Head Waiters, Cocktail Waitresses & Chef de Rangs to join the team in our client’s fantastic new restaurant.
The restaurant is based in London’s most prestigious address, with an exclusive entrance positioned where Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, and Piccadilly all converge. The restaurant is vibrant and glamorous and will be full of the spirit, color, textures and stories of modern Mexico City.
The Head Waiter will:-
-Delivers personalized service in accordance to the restaurants principals with charisma, dynamism, passion and charm. It must be ‘intelligent’
-Be recognized as the knowledge exchange hub for guest and team members alike
-Performance in this position is measured through many tools including, but not limited to, guest reviews via social media, online and in-house channels; financial returns, and employee engagement
-Ensure that a consistent and quality-driven service culture is delivered to all guests
The ideal Cocktail Server & Chef de Rang will:-
Assist the Bartender & Head Waiter to deliver service standards in accordance to the restaurants principles with charisma, dynamism, passion and charm
Remain flexible regarding working hours and shift patterns
Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional
Contribute to a positive working environment
Take ownership in developing Your Skills
Create Room to be yourself
Respects colleagues while on shift and works closely with other associates to deliver memorable experiences
Actively participate in team briefings and meetings
Experience & Skills we require:-
Excellent knowledge of food products, dishes and the preparation methods
Profound knowledge of customer service and of all beverage products such as spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails
Basic reading and writing skills in English – essential
Excellent communication skills in English – essential
Ability to speak Spanish from South America – desirable
Knowledge of Micros and Microsoft packages – essential
Experience in the London trendy restaurants/hotel market such as COYA, Sushi Samba & MNKY HSE – essential
Excellent knowledge of Mexican culture – desirable
Must be at the minimum age to serve alcohol in line with local legislative requirements.
Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms
Bending, stooping, kneeling
Extra Head Waiter Requirements :-
- Personal license – desirable
-WSET certification - desirable
Salary: £9.50ph + TRONC (minimum £2000 a year)
Chef de Rang
Salary: £8.75ph + TRONC (minimum £2000 a year)
Salary: Up to £10.44ph + TRONC (minimum £2000 a year)
Hours: Full – Time
