(45419) ASAP - for 3-6 months, possibly permanent. Our client is looking a chef to work for her in her home in Belgravia. You will be catering for between 1-3 adults and 1 - 3 children, depending on the families schedule.
They like light, fresh and healthy cooking. Incorporating things like super food salads, quinoa, sashimi, grilled fish etc. They eat mostly pescatarian, however two family members do eat meat form time to time. The client may be working with a nutritionist in the near future, so there may be some menu guidelines to follow. The client has a nut allergy. They would like the chef to cater for Breakfast, lunch and dinner each day ideally, although if the right chef came along and could only be there for Lunch and dinner, they would be happy to be flexible on this.
The children are around 10/11 and although they eat a lot of what the adults eat, occasionally they have simple suppers such as mac and cheese with vegetables. They would also like someone who will be happy with the children in the kitchen from time to time and possibly do some cooking or baking with them.
The client would like someone who is thoughtful, naturally caring and has a calm personality. They like easy going people and a lot of the staff have stayed for long periods of time in the past. The client is very big on privacy and discretion and you may be required to sign an NDA and have a DBS check.
The client is mostly based in London, however does travel to L.A from time to time for work. The chef may be required to travel with the client for a week or so at a time, but this is not essential.
Working week: 8.00am - 8.00pm, 6 days per week.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 pro-rata.
