House Manager Job

ESTATE MANAGER / MULTIPLE RESIDENCE HOUSEHOLD MANAGER – FRANCE, GERMANY & AUSTRIA

LIVE OUT - THE CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO HAVE THEIR OWN ACCOMMODATION NEAR ST TROPEZ, FRANCE OR MUNICH, GERMANY 

Essential Requirements

  • Proactive, independent, very experienced house manager required for a private family with 3 properties, the main residence is Munich – with secondary residences in Austria and South of France.

  • Professional experience in managing multiple UHNW Private residences.

  • Many years of professional experience as a multiple residence house manager in an upscale household / high-class / VIP environment.

  • Willingness to travel and work at weekends and bank holidays.

  • Driver with full licence, EU Passport essential.

  • Confident IT skills.

  • Languages required Fluent English. German and / or French would be a bonus.

  • Strictly Non-Smoker, high level of discretion, reliability and responsibility.

  • Previous yacht experience would be beneficial.

  • Excellent references from previous employers.

  • Experience in staff management.

  • Consistent longevity in previous positions.

  • Direct, transparent, on-point communication, great eye on details.

  • Profound cleaning experience of high-quality materials (Marble/ slate floor etc.) 

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of the following properties:

  • Munich, Germany (4.500 sqm): Responsible for 2 housekeeper + 1 cleaning staff + 1 facility manager/gardener + 1 cook | one apartment in Munich, Schwabing (for Home Office) to be cleaned 1x/w by the housekeepers

  • Austria (1.500 sqm): Responsible for 1 housekeeper + 1 cleaning staff

  • Saint Tropez, France (1.500 sqm): Responsible for 1-2 housekeeper + 1 cleaning staff + 2-3 facility manager/gardener (+seasional security/support)

  • Management and coordination of all staff in all 3 residences.

  • Implementation of a 5-star standard in all homes (including guidelines, SOP’s etc.).

  • Accounting and cost controlling.

  • Recruiting.

  • Regular personal check of all houses.

  • Supervision and coordination of craftsmen. 

General conditions

  • Live-out in Munich, full time including weekends and public holidays.

  • Long-term position.

  • Salary max. €130.000 - €140.000 gross depending on previous experience.
