 House Manager/Cook in Nottinghill


A House Manager/Chef is needed for a lovely home in Nottinghill and will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the residence of our clients. He/She will be responsible for the oversight of the maintenance of the property and preparing delicious healthy meals for the lady of the house to finish off and cook in the evening herself. This is a fantastic Monday – Friday role and they are looking for someone who has a passion for food and using only organic produce.

Main duties


• Maintaining the home in coordination with vendors/maintenance firms

• Driving errands and occasionally going to the Sussex garden for veggies pick ups

• Maintaining basic household tech checks (Sonos/Apple TV/ WIFI etc)

• Managing kitchen inventories resourcefully 

• Sourcing and purchasing items for the house

• Managing mail/ packages and occasional document printing alongside the family PA for family work/ non-profit projects

• Occasional events planning -- managing table, flowers, wine stock

• Household Budget and tracking expenses on Expensify (an app) with the family PA 

• Gift calendars for staff birthdays and friends of family/ including holiday hampers

• Greeting visitors and answering phone calls

• Suitcase packing

• Keeping the extensive library in order

• Occasional coordination with London/Sussex /New York staff

• Hosting weekly staff meetings between London staff

• Maintaining cars (cleaning /licensing / parking permits/MOT)

• Maintaining bikes

• Alternate Christmas/holiday cover with housekeeper 

• Assisting housekeeper with household tasks if needed

• Building and maintaining solid relationships w vendors/contractors




• Family cooking (breakfast/ supper) and occasional prep for supper (family often cooks on their own) on a daily basis 

• Prepping weekend meals when required

• Creating healthy but inventive weekly and dinner party menus

• Food stocking (local butchers/market for local organic produce)


Start date – ASAP

Live in or out – Live out

Working days – Monday – Friday 11am – 8pm

Salary – £50K – 60K gross per annum
