Housekeeper Job – Stamford, Lincolnshire – Full-time – £40,000+ GPA

An experienced, organised and hands-on Housekeeper is sought for a busy family home in Stamford, Lincolnshire.

The family has four school-aged children, three of whom attend boarding school, making the school holidays an especially busy time in the household.

Working within the family’s six-bedroom home, the Housekeeper will take pride in maintaining excellent standards throughout, keeping the property clean, tidy and well organised while helping the household run smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carrying out all hands-on cleaning to a high standard
  • Making beds and changing bed linen
  • Managing the family’s laundry and ironing
  • Organising and maintaining wardrobes
  • General Housekeeping and household management
  • Identifying household maintenance needs and liaising with tradespeople and contractors
  • Completing household shopping and errands
  • No cooking is required
  • Offering occasional childcare support, including childminding and proxy parenting
  • Help with dog walking

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and a professional, trustworthy and reliable approach. Flexibility and a willingness to support the household when needed are essential.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am–5.00 pm, with some flexibility and very occasional weekend support.

Driver: Essential

Requirements: Excellent references and an Enhanced DBS check

Start date: As soon as the right candidate is found

Salary: From £40,000 GPA
