Full-Time or Part-Time Housekeeper Job in Exeter & Exmouth, Devon
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking a proactive, flexible and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the smooth running of a portfolio of luxury Air B&Bs in Exeter and Exmouth, Devon. The role is primarily focused on maintaining a collection of luxury Airbnb properties to a high standard, ensuring every property is beautifully presented and guest-ready. During quieter periods, the successful candidate will also assist with the upkeep of other portfolio properties and the head office.
The client is seeking someone who takes genuine pride in creating immaculate, welcoming spaces. Previous experience within a private household, luxury hospitality, boutique accommodation or high-end housekeeping environment would be highly desirable but is not essential.
Housekeeping duties include:
Maintaining luxury Airbnb properties to a high standard throughout
Preparing properties for guest arrivals, ensuring they are immaculately clean, beautifully presented and fully guest-ready
Changing bed linen and making beds
Cleaning and presenting kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas to the highest standard
Styling rooms in line with established property standards
Laundry management, including transporting laundry bags where required
Reporting maintenance issues, damage or missing items promptly
Assisting with deep cleaning projects to maintain exceptional presentation throughout the year
Supporting efficient guest changeovers within agreed timescales
Caring for furnishings, fixtures and finishes throughout each property
Happy to work with eco products and cleaning methods
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, reliable and able to work independently whilst maintaining consistently high standards. They will have close attention to detail, take genuine pride in their work and understand that presentation is just as important as cleanliness.
The client is also committed to environmentally responsible housekeeping practices, so experience using eco-friendly cleaning products and sustainable cleaning methods would be advantageous.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as travel between Exeter and Exmouth is required.
The successful candidate must also be flexible to work weekends and bank holidays where required to accommodate guest changeovers.
During quieter air bnb periods, the successful candidate will also assist with the upkeep of other portfolio properties and the head office.
Full-time or part-time available. Flexible hours depending on the needs of the properties. Full time hours are 40 hours per week. The Air bnb turnover hours are usually done between 10am - 3pm.
Salary: Dependent on experience plus company benefits
