Housekeeper / Mothers Help job nr Worksop Nottinghamshire
(44205) Our client is looking for a country loving Housekeeper / Mothers Help who can join this busy family home near Worksop in September 2017.
You will be looking after a large family home in a rural setting working for a family with 3 school age children. Mum works part-time so your role will be to work with her to keep the home clean and tidy and running smoothly. The home is typical of a rural setting with the kitchen being the hub of the home and it is especially busy during the winter months.
Your roll will be hands on and varied and the family need someone who can roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You need to be organised, tidy and be able to manage your own time. This is a relaxed informal family home but you must be professional in nature and discreet at all times.
The role will involve:
Hands on cleaning for the house
Laundry for the household and family & ironing
Keeping the family home tidy, preparing guest bedrooms when needed
Some cooking – the more you can do the better but this will depend on your skills and level of skill – anything from family cooking to cooking for dinner parties would be a bonus
Help with childcare – occasional school runs, afterschool care and babysitting
Help with household administration
Help with the horses – mucking out, clearing the paddocks, riding if able
Shopping for the house
Full-time or part-time employment could also be found for a partner – gardening, handyman, maintenance
September start – possible trial for a couple of weeks over the summer could be arranged
2 bed separate accommodation provided – rent, council tax, water, electric paid by the employer - LIVE OUT ALSO CONSIDERED FOR A LOCAL CANDIDATE
Monday to Friday, full-time, occasional weekends
£18,000 to £20,000 gpa Live In, slightly more may be offered for a live out candidate
