One of our regular clients, a small but excellent restaurant is looking for a Junior Chef de Rang/ Sommelier. The restaurant, with only sixteen covers, is looking for someone to join their front of house team. Reporting into the Assistant Manager, the Junior Chef de Rang would be supporting the the head sommelier and restaurant manager. The restaurant only operates a tasting menu, which is of the highest quality.
The Chef de Rang should be well presented, interested in food and have a good background in the food industry already. The restaurant will be happy to train up the Chef de Rang so a wealth of experience is not necessary. Some wine knowledge is always useful, as this is one of the rarest wine lists in London. Again this is not essential, but someone who is keen to learn is very important. This is a Great opportunity to learn in a very detailed environment. Our client is Happy to put through WSET if candidate shows real passion.
Hours: Full Time - 5 day week
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 DOE
