A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and talented Junior sous chef to work in Central London private members club.
As Junior sous chef will assist the head chef with all the events and fine dining experiences within this busy/high profile environment. Alongside the head chef and sous chef you will be managing the profitability of the business by providing consistently excellent food and exceeding guests service expectations.
The role will also involve the day-to-day running of the kitchen and drive the business forward. The club serves modern British cuisine with Asian, French and middle-eastern influence.
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:
·Hands on experience of preparing fresh food from an events and hospitality background
·Knowledge of the highest food standards of Health & Safety, food hygiene, and have the ability to implement this into the workplace.
·Exceptional technical skills
-Basic Knowledge of pastry & bread
·Up to date knowledge of current food trends
·A passion and drive to create amazing food
·Good organizational & communication skills
