Live In Couple Job For Estate on the Isle of Mull
Greycoat Lumleys client are looking for a couple with passion and commitment to run an Estate on the Isle of Mull with luxury holiday homes. The couple need to have the mind-set that they are responsible for the day to day running of the Estate and the properties. The current success of the of the Estate and the holiday lettings business is down to the present couple and their excellent partnership with the owners. The owners are looking to continue this. Applicants need to consider the lifestyle of living and working on the Island and understand the role is for a number of years and not short term. The current couple have been in the role for several years, which speaks volumes about their relationship with the owners and how much they have enjoyed their time on the Estate.
The duties of the roles include:
Day to day management and running of the business
Web site: update bookings and write blog, late availability
All paperwork, banking, monies, deposits etc.
All laundry for all properties
Ordering of household goods
Meeting and greeting guests
Ensuring the guests and owners are well catered for when visiting
Keeping a check on fuel (oil ), septic tanks etc.
Gardening - mowing, strimming, planting.
Repairs: all machinery
All building maintenance when needed - plumbing etc.
Boatman and boat maintenance (not essential)
Planting, painting and wood cutting ( supplies for all properties)
Water supply maintenance ( main spring and all water systems in properties).
The everyday running of the estate is the responsibility of the couple and therefore other duties will surface and must be carried out as part of the role. This is not a Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm role, check out days are a Saturday and Sunday.
