Live-in Housekeeper / Cook Job – Bermuda, North Atlantic Ocean

Role Overview

A premier private household agency is seeking a dedicated, versatile, and highly proactive live-in Mother’s Help for a warm, active family of five based in beautiful Bermuda.

This role functions as a true extension of the mother. Your primary responsibility is ensuring the home runs seamlessly through top-tier cooking and detailed housekeeping. Childcare is a secondary focus, required on an ad hoc basis to provide an extra pair of hands for the family’s three children (infant, 3-year-old, and 5-year-old).

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically active, and possesses a warm, adaptable nature with the initiative to manage daily household logistics independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Family Cooking (Primary Focus): Plan and prepare nutritious daily lunches and dinners for the family. Manage age-appropriate baby/toddler food, snacks, and school packed lunches. Handle batch cooking, kitchen inventory, light grocery shopping, and complete kitchen cleanliness.

  • Housekeeping (Primary Focus): Maintain high standards of daily cleanliness and organization across all family living areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms, and hallways.

  • Ad Hoc Childcare: Support the mother with the three young children when needed, providing flexible and reliable backup care.

Schedule & Package

  • Hours: Monday to Friday (with flexibility), 7:00am to 7:00pm (with a 2-hour daily break; 50 net hours per week).

  • Babysitting: Two evenings per week (flexible days).

  • Accommodation: Full live-in provisions provided, Separate room in the Villa, bathroom shared with the children 

  • Start Date: August or early September 2026.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in professional Housekeeper / Cook, although Childcare an advantage we are NOT seeking a Nanny 

  • Ability to work effectively alongside a hands-on parent.

  • High level of discretion, reliability, and strong organizational skills.

  • Valid passport and willingness to relocate to Bermuda.

  • Willingness to complete health checks required for VISA's 

  • Free of Personal Ties, so can travel immediately 

  • No long notice periods
