Private Live In/ Live out Chef job, Central London, ASAP £500-550net per week

 

Our client is seeking an experienced chef/ cook to cook all three meals a day. Starting with the two children’s breakfasts around 7.30am, followed by the adults. Lunch to be prepared and served. Dinners to be prepared but the chef will be able to leave before dinner is served; another staff member will complete the meal and serve.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to muck in and help with ordering groceries online and serving the family dinner. There are other staff in the household so the ideal candidate must be happy to work in a team.

Cuisines desired- Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese as well as fresh soups, salads, a variety of healthy dishes, experience of gluten free/diary free would be preferred.

The family like to eat Asian style cuisines with a focus on fresh, lean, healthy and high nutritional content. For example, they enjoy black soba noodles, quinoa, green juices (cold pressed), chicken and salmon Teriyaki, baking with almond flour and coconut butter healthy gluten alternatives and using Soy and Almond milk in juices.

They also enjoy a lot of Ottolenghi recipes.

 

Duties include:-

 

  • Serving tea and drinks 

  • Serving and laying formal table place settings 

  • Answering telephone and doorbells 

  • Cooking family meals and some baking.

  • Organising and purchasing produce 

  • Flower arrangements in the home 

 

 

Hours: 5.5 days per week on rota basis typically Sunday – Friday (sometimes weekends with notice and two days off in week)

7am – 7/8pm (occasionally later with entertaining events) and two breaks throughout the day

 

Accommodation: in staff house half a mile from family home
