Switzerland, 2 Live in Nannies separate accommodation

 

Lovely international family are looking to hire 2 nannies to care for their 3 children 2 girls of 5 years and 3 years and a little boy of 3 months. The role is based not far from Gstaad so a fan of the outdoors is a must! The family are looking for enthusiastic candidates able to support the family and assist them with the development of their 3 children. The family are wanting one nanny who is child focused and one nanny who can do housekeeping as well as working with the children when one nanny is off. Both nannies need to love dogs as their Bassett is very much part of the family. The family are looking for fun nannies who will take the children for picnics, do arts and craft, take them swimming, be silly and yet still teach them manners. Baby experience for both nannies essential as there is sole charge at times and he will be starting to be weaned soon and experience necessary.

The role is to start mid-October but they are interviewing now and trialling now.

 

Nanny role:

 

  • 5 days on, 2 days off, 8am to 8pm

  • Days off are Monday & Tuesdays or Wednesdays & Thursdays.

  • Care of the children and their wellbeing

  • Nursery duties

  • Wardrobe maintenance

  • Organisation and orchestration of children’s social calendar

  • Planning age-appropriate activities

  • Accompany the children to activities

  • Babysitting 3 times per week Split between the 2 nannies

  • Walking the family dog once per day

 

 

The candidate:

 

  • English/French/Italian speaking a bonus

  • Confident driver must be able to drive a 7 seater van in snow

  • Committed

 

Accommodation: separate accommodation on location, own entrance and a studio down the road.

Salary: Nanny £800 to £1100 net per week depending on experience
