Live in Private Cook in Mayfair, London, ASAP start £Neg

Our client, a family of three people living in the household, is seeking the assistance of an experienced private cook to join them at their home in Central London. The family also have 2 sons that live locally and 1 that lives abroad who visit on occasion.

The family will generally require breakfast and an evening meal daily. They will most weekends travel to their country residence but there may be the occasional weekend when the chef is required to be flexible, should the family stay in London and host a dinner party or similar.

The family enjoy a wide range of cuisines and prefer simple, delicious food that is beautifully presented. Presentation is key in this role. They have no dietary requirements other than they do not eat pork.

Aside from the cooking, the family are looking for someone flexible, who is willing to muck in around the house when required. On a weekly basis this will just be helping make the beds as is too much for one person to do alone and looking after the kitchen. They have full time housekeeping staff who cover the house keeping very well. The family are looking for someone with a flexible attitude with a cook who is happy to help others. The team of staff that work at the household are all team players and looking for someone with a similar approach

The family travel for much of the summer and the chef is not required to travel with them, so there will be some downtime then. Ideally the cook will be a driver. Ideally the cook will be able to over see the running of the household.

Hours: Monday – Friday, occasional weekends if required

Accommodation: lovely two bedroom cottage, separate entrance, all utilities paid, attached to the house through the utility room but very much separate. The location is amazing, very close to Hyde Park.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 gpa live in dependent on experience

Start: ASAP
