Live Out Housekeeper Job in Belgravia
A lovely client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking to hire an energetic and dynamic Housekeeper to join their team. This is a semi-formal household where the couple has multiple dogs so the candidate must be animal-friendly however there is a full-time dog-nanny employed.
The ideal candidate for this role will be flexible and have plenty of initiative. You will also be flexible to travel several times a year but for no longer than a few weeks at any given time. You need to have good English and communication skills, be discreet, dog friendly, and have excellent standards and prior experience with UHNW households. Longevity in all previous roles is essential.
Duties to include but not be limited to:
Cleaning to a high standard
General laundry and ironing including daily laundry, ironing and change of towels plus weekly change of bedding
Clothing care - washing, ironing and steaming plus organising clothes, shoes, etc. to dry cleaners, cobblers, etc.
Maintain up-keep of furniture, art, china, collectibles, crystal, and silver polishing
Keeping the house clean and tidy throughout the day
Keeping a constant supply of household essentials (water, coffee, etc.) and cleaning materials
Assistance with luggage, packing and unpacking for journeys
Preparing for the arrival of visitors and various needs when staying
Shopping and ad hoc errands as required
Co-ordinating deliveries and maintenance visits
Occasional dog walks and feeds when dog nanny is on holiday
Maintenance when principals are not in residence
Being able to travel
BONUS: Cooking simple, tasty, classic meals
House: Large 4 storey house with 4 bedrooms
Days & Hours: Monday – Friday 11 am – 8 pm or 12 pm -9 pm in London but must be flexible and willing to adapt to occasional changes in days and hours (mostly when you travel with the couple)
Salary: 45,000+ GPA (depending on the experience)
