Live Out Housekeeper Job in Chelsea, London
A formally run, high-end private residence in Chelsea is seeking a professional and experienced Housekeeper to join their team.
The Principal travels for up to 7 months abroad, and the successful candidate will need to accompany them for a total of approximately 8-12 weeks per year, mostly to America and on occasion to Greece and France. Therefore, a British or EU passport is required for the position.
The role is ideal for someone polished, honest, respectful, and proactive, with a passion for cooking and maintaining beautiful interiors to an exceptional standard.
Someone who is comfortable working in a team as well as independently is important. The client also employs a part-time Housekeeper, a House Manager whom you will report to and a Driver.
The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable and able to maintain top hygiene standards in the kitchen and household areas.
Duties to include:
- Cleaning, laundry and ironing
- Making beds
- Wardrobe management
- Packing/unpacking
- Cooking simple, light meals
- Travelling with the Principal for up to 8-12 weeks per year
Residence: 3-floor residence
Working days and hours:
When the client is in residence: 5 days, including weekends, from 10 am to 7 pm
When the client is not in residence: Monday - Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm
When you travel with the client: Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm
Salary: £market rate, depending on experience
