Live-out Housekeeper Job in Mayfair, London
A private household in Mayfair is seeking an experienced and proactive Housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their five-floor residence. Two floors are dedicated to office spaces and are maintained by a separate cleaner; the successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of the remaining three residential floors. T
The ideal candidate will be flexible, hardworking, and highly organised, with previous experience working in high-end private households. The role requires someone with excellent attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to maintain exceptionally high standards throughout the home.
Duties to include:
• Daily cleaning
• Deep cleaning of specialist surfaces, including marble and granite
• Monthly disinfection and deep cleaning tasks
• Laundry and ironing for the household and guests
• Restocking cleaning supplies and household toiletries
• Taking out household rubbish
• Assisting with general household organisation and pantry stocking
• Ad hoc wardrobe and closet organisation
• Careful handling of delicate fabrics and luxury furnishings
• Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as unclogging sinks or replacing toilet seats
The successful candidate will be trustworthy, discreet, and able to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.
House: Five floors, including two floors of office space - only three floors are to be looked after by you
Nearest station: Green Park
Other staff: A part-time weekend Housekeeper and an evening office cleaner
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Holiday: Bank holidays are not taken on the exact dates but form part of the overall holiday entitlement.
Salary: up to £45,000 GPA - depending on experience
