Live-Out Housekeeper Job in St. John's Wood, London
A prestigious household is seeking a reliable and professional Housekeeper with a keen eye for detail to join their well-established team and support the smooth running of a large 10-bedroom, five-floor residence. The household includes a single Principal and two small dogs, and the successful candidate will work alongside a fully staffed team including a Head Housekeeper, Senior Housekeeper, two Housekeepers, a Chef, and a Dog Nanny.
Duties to include:
Daily cleaning across all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas to a high standard
Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
Correct use and care of cleaning products and materials
Supporting other team members as required
Running local errands as needed
Assisting with household events or ad hoc tasks to maintain smooth operations
The ideal candidate should be dog-friendly, discreet, professional, proactive, flexible, and reliable. Previous experience in a high-end private household is required, along with strong references.
House: 10 bedrooms across 5 floors
Working Days: Full-time, five days per week, rota-based
Hours: Rota-based, typically 7:00 am – 4:00pm, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, or 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. Over 5 days, including weekends.
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
