Part-Time Housekeeper Job in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
A family are seeking an experienced, reliable and hardworking Part-Time Housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their family home in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. This is a varied role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent housekeeping skills and is happy to assist with occasional cooking and general household organisation.
The household is home to a couple and their two children, aged 11. They do not currently have any pets, although they may welcome a dog in the future, so the ideal candidate should be pet-friendly and happy to assist with pet care if required. The family are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Housekeeper who is able to work independently and maintain a high standard throughout the property.
The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience, excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude. They should be child-friendly, pet-friendly and comfortable preparing simple family meals and batch cooking when required.
Duties will include:
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home
General housekeeping and keeping the property organised
Laundry and ironing
Occasional cooking and batch cooking for the family
Organising household supplies and general household tasks
Providing occasional assistance with other household duties as required
Being happy to assist with pet care should the family get a dog in the future
House: Two floors, six bedrooms
Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 25 hours per week, ideally in the afternoons
Salary: £20 - £22 gross per hour, PAYE or self-employed
Start: As soon as the right candidate is found
