Live out Housekeeper Job in Wimbledon, London
A lovely family seeks a professional, experienced Housekeeper to help run their spacious four storey family home in Wimbledon smoothly. The household has two children, aged 10 and 14, with one child currently attending boarding school.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and highly organised, with excellent housekeeping standards and previous experience working in a private household. They should take pride in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming home and be confident managing housekeeping duties independently. The family currently has a live in Housekeeper who will be leaving towards the end of the year, so they are looking for a new Housekeeper to take over the role on a live out basis.
The role will focus on general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and cooking. The family particularly enjoys Turkish cuisine and is happy to teach the successful candidate their preferred dishes.
Duties to include:
- Cleaning and daily upkeep of the four-storey property
- Laundry and ironing
- Keeping the home organised and well presented
- Cooking for the family, with a focus on Turkish cuisine
- Learning and preparing the family's preferred recipes
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household
- Running occasional ad hoc errands
Residence: 4 storey family home
Nearest station: Wimbledon
Working week: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 30 hours per week, starting between 8:00 am and 9:00 am
Salary: £20 gross per hour
