Live out Housekeeper Job in South Kensington, London
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced Housekeeper for their family home in London. The household currently includes a teenage son, though it will become quieter over time as he prepares to leave for university next year. This is a busy but informal family household, and the successful candidate should be confident in managing a large property. The principal is often working away from home and is looking for a candidate who can take ownership of their responsibilities, use initiative, and confidently manage their workload.
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and meticulous individual who is comfortable working independently. Proven experience in a similar role is essential, and local candidates are preferred.
Duties to include:
Cleaning to a high standard
Laundry and ironing
Maintaining the overall organisation of the home
Daily dog walking
Running errands, including dry cleaning collection, grocery shopping, and pharmacy visits
Assisting with food deliveries when required
Nearest station: Gloucester Road Station
Property: 3 floors, 5-bedroom property, approximately 5,000 sq ft
Other staff: Weekend housekeeper
Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 GPA (depending on experience)
