Live out Housekeeper/Cook Job in West London
A warm and welcoming family based in West London is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper/Cook to join their household. The family consists of a couple and their three children, aged 12, 13, and 15, along with a playful Golden Retriever puppy. They are currently living in temporary accommodation and will be moving into their newly refurbished family home near Kensington Olympia in November.
This spacious five-bedroom home spans four floors and includes a study, drawing room, cinema, and games room, seven bathrooms, wooden floors, a marble kitchen, and high-end furnishings throughout.
The family is looking for a careful, upbeat, and bubbly candidate who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and enjoys cooking healthy, nutritious family meals. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be confident caring for delicate fabrics and high-end interiors, and be happy working independently while managing a varied workload.
Duties to include:
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of the property
- Laundry, including handling delicate fabrics and garments
- Ironing
- Preparing healthy family-style meals
- Preparing snacks for the children
- Ordering groceries through Ocado and local shopping
- Running household errands
- Walking the family dog
- Occasional school pick-ups (approximately 15 minutes away)
- Supporting the family when entertaining guests, including welcoming guests and assisting with set-up
- Occasionally preparing dinner for up to eight guests (BONUS)
The children are independent, and the family is looking for someone who will become a valued and trusted member of their household.
House: 5 bedrooms, study, drawing room, cinema/games room, 7 bathrooms, over 4 floors
Working week: Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)
