A Sous Chef is required for one of Londons leading contemporary caterers to work within one of thier restaurants in Central London.
Working under the Head Chef, you will need to be organized, hardworking, strong and talented.
The right candidate needs to have previous high quality experience in events work, Fine Dining, Rosette or Michelin level experience. The Sous Chef will be responsible for the team and times, so it is essential they are able to work within a team and manage others, including temporary staff, as well as take instructions from their seniors. The role is very ingredient led and the Chef must be passionate about food, where it is sourced from and concerned with the seasonality of it.
Independence is also important, as there will be some times when you will be working on your own.
The right candidate will be someone who is confident, strong willed, determined and has an interesting character. The client believes its always about the candidates character and skills.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 gross per annum. Overtime and bonus on top.
