Mother’s Help / House Help Job Shifnal Shropshire

(52178)  Our client is looking for a flexible Mother’s / House help who can help the family on a part-time basis.  You need to be a country lover and have had some experience with children although you do not need formal Nanny experience for this role.

The family have 3 boys under 5 and mum is very hands on.  They have a Nanny employed Monday to Thursday so this role is to cover Friday and Saturday every week, one Sunday per month and then additional ad hoc hours during the week (shoot lunch waitressing, babysitting etc) to bring the role up to approx 28 hours per week in total.

The role is offered ideally as live in as there is a self contained 3 bed flat available with the role with a private entrance and parking.  Partners considered although work is not offered.

The job is working for the family on an estate with other staff employed so you need to be happy to work in such and environment and get along with the other members of staff, some who have been with the family for many years.  The role would suit someone who might want to get additional work elsewhere or use the time for study for example.

The main duties will include:

Helping with the children – hands on childcare with a mix of mainly shared but occasionally sole charge

Helping with the housework – general cleaning, tidying

Waitressing – helping when they entertain guests especially during the shoot season

Helping with house and garden tours during the summer

Cooking a bonus (shoot lunches etc)

Above all you need to be a good all-rounder and happy to muck in and be part of the estate community.

Enhanced DBS required & excellent references

£hourly rate paid dependent on experience + accommodation offered at a subsidised rent
