Nanny Job Ludlow Shropshire – Dec / Jan start – Live in or Daily

(46653) Our client is looking for country loving Nanny for this fun role in the heart of rural Shropshire. The family are looking for a full time, live in or daily Nanny to join their young and growing family near Ludlow, Shropshire. The family have two small girls – a toddler of just under two and a baby of 8 months. The family are looking for a bright and outdoorsy person who enjoys a challenge to join them and help to “keep the show on the road”. The Nanny needs to be experienced with babies and young children as well as animals such as dogs, horses and chickens.

The main role of the job will be to care for the children during the weekdays alongside mum. Flexible working hours are needed as occasional weekend, overnight or evening work will be required (arranged in advance and time off given during the week). 40 hours per week.

The parents would like to be able to travel to London all together now and again so the applicant needs to be comfortable with sole charge in an urban environment as well as a rural one.

Duties will include:

General nursery duties

Playing with the children – occupying and stimulating the children at home as well as accompanying them to playgroups, swimming, activities and nursery / school runs.

Helping with the dogs

Running errands

Light domestic work such as tidying, washing up and cooking for the children and family.

Previous experience with babies and young children essential

Relevant childcare qualifications

Driving licence (preferably with own car)

Cooking healthy meals

The job can offer live in accommodation within walking distance of the family home – partners considered to follow own profession.
