Malay speaking PA Job

This is a PA role encompassing a wide range of administrative duties, which include both business and personal related matters (details below). While the Chairman is not in the UK most of the time, his family members are residing here for education purpose and the PA is expected to attend to selected household matters when required. This is a highly demanding job that requires good communication, organisational skill and flexibility to work outside of normal working hours when required.


Job details – duties



  • Diary management

  • Co-ordinating with EA in KL on travel arrangements and arranging transport for airport transfers in UK

  • Preparing business documents when requested

  • Welcoming guests and providing refreshments


  • Ensuring smooth running of house in London by monitoring services and arranging/ supervising contractors as required.

  • Managing maintenance of house in Oxford by monitoring services and arranging/supervising contractors as required

  • Preparing houses for family’s visits, including organising cleaners, checking services and appliances, and laundry of bedlinen

  • Monitoring personal invoices, seeking approval and making payment in a timely manner

  • Settling household bills and payments for the Chairman

  • Receiving Chairman’s parcels and arranging delivery to family house

  • Other private PA support for the Chairman, such as booking personal appointments and running personal errands

  • Booking travel, restaurants, shows, sport events, concerts and other entertainment






Skills and experience

  • Excellent communication skill in speaking and writing

  • Good organisational skill to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently and flexibility in re-prioritising work on a regular basis

  • Minimum of 5 year working experience as a PA to a senior management member, working experience with Malaysian strongly preferred

  • Familiarity and adaptable to both British and Asian working culture

  • Willingness to work long hours, to travel frequently between London and Oxford and to be contactable outside of normal working hours for emergency matters


£40k to £50k
