Our client, based in Nottinghill, is looking for a passionate and hardworking PA to work in an office in their private household and to carry out the administration of their neuro rehab charity which provides exercise classes for people who have had a stroke, currently operating in Notting Hill.

 

 

This is an amazing opportunity to learn about the charity world and is an amazing cause to support and be instrumental in taking the charity forward.

 

 

Responsibilities of the PA

 

Household tasks

 

  • Able to attend household meetings, take detailed minutes and create and execute action plans from minutes

  • Confident at liaising with house project professionals when following up on meetings and actions eg architect and interior designer re snagging, builders, tradesmen etc.

  • Property management – assisting with management of some rental properties using spreadsheets for financial data.

  • Organising all other aspects of our personal and domestic affairs including foreign and domestic travel, diaries and co-ordinating staff.

  • Administrating all household bills and insurance policies and negotiating best rates when applicable.

  • Updating filing systems when necessary

  • Co-ordinating family calendar and events

  • Monitor emails and calls and deal with daily enquiries as they arise

 

 

Charity related tasks

 

  • Carry out research tasks

  • Collate spreadsheets using Excel

  • Analysis of outcome data to then use in the creation and delivery of presentations to large business about the charities services (for fundraising and marketing purposes),

  • Delivery of presentations alongside client

  • Be a public face for the charity

  • Process the administration for the charity which includes handling new referrals and enquiries

  • Assist with marketing, using MailChimps, updating charity website

  • Assist with the administration at the rehab groups

 

 

 

All of these tasks associated with the charity will be supported and assisted by the client if necessary and they are happy to look at any necessary training if needed.

 

 

Requirements of the Personal Assistant:

 

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent time-management skills

  • A problem-solving approach to tasks

  • Willing to go the extra mile when needed

  • Tact and diplomacy

  • Happy to work closely with employer on tasks and independently when required

  • Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Happy to assist with very occasional emergency childcare if necessary

 

 

Hours: 09:30-5:30 Monday- Friday with some flexibility as required from both sides

 

PAYE and self-employed considered

 

Salary: £28,000-£32,000 depending on experience

 

Start date: Flexible
