Live in PA Job

Nr Banbury, Oxfordshire

 

We are looking for an experienced and trusted individual to operate as a PA managing the diaries and needs of the families 3 children.

The role is considered on a live-in or live out basis and will involve some travel during school holidays.

  • Organise and co-ordinate the children’s school sports, clubs and after school activities.

  • Deal with the schools regarding all matters concerning the children.

  • Ensure all school uniforms (including the sports kits) are in place, named and the correct sizes.

  • Drive the children where ever they need to be driven, including but not limited to: to and from school, to play dates, sports days, birthday parties, events. (car provided)

  • Manage the children’s calendar.

  • Arrange and co-ordinate suitable weekend and holiday activities and play dates.

  • Source and co-ordinate tutors where necessary.

  • Manage the petty cash accounting for the children.

  • Answer/return calls, place orders, run errands.

  • Make hotel bookings and transfers where needed.

Person specification:

  • Strong PA background

  • Highly organised

  • Flexible in their approach

  • Reliable and trustworthy – the Principals need full confidence that you will follow through on all of your responsibilities and requests from them and the school

  • Team player - you will be part of a wider household and PA team so it is essential you are able to work well as part of a team as well on as on an individual basis. Willing to get stuck in and cover for staff members if required.

  • Excellent communicator – information is made available to all relevant parties in a timely manner

  • Personable – must be able to gain the children’s trust

Experience required:

  • Experience of dealing with English public-school requirements (secondary level) and administration

  • Current first aid certificate required

  • Clean UK manual driver’s license

  • Hours/days: 5 days a week, hours will vary between 7.30am – 6pm (if doing the school drop-off which won’t be every day) and 9am – 6pm. Flexibility is required around hours and weekend working (although, this will not be common)

  • Salary: £35K live – in (Own 1 bedroom apt, single person only) £40K live out
