Part Time Housekeeper Job in Oxford, Oxfordshire

A lovely returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an experienced and proactive Housekeeper for their new family home in Oxford. The family are due to move into the property in mid-August and are looking for a reliable and organised candidate to help establish and maintain the household to a high standard.

The property is a beautiful six-bedroom home arranged over four floors. The family consists of a couple, their two-year-old son, and a small dog. They also employ a full-time Nanny. The family are looking for a kind, friendly, and flexible Housekeeper who is happy to assist wherever needed and take pride in keeping the home running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have excellent housekeeping skills, and be confident managing a busy family home independently. A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help with a variety of household tasks are essential.

Duties will include:

Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property
Household organisation and tidying
Running the home on a day-to-day basis
Laundry and ironing
Liaising with and overseeing contractors
Sweeping and maintaining the patio area
Watering indoor and outdoor plant pots
Occasional food preparation
General household errands
Other ad hoc housekeeping duties as required

Nearest Station: Oxford

House: Six Bedrooms, Four Floors

Days & Hours: Approximately 18 hours per week across three days (flexible)

Salary: £20 – £23 gross per hour, depending on experience
